LIVING AND DINING ROOM MAKEOVER.
The brief was to not to have anything that looked or felt too much like a beach apartment. It needed to be practical, durable, withstand the natural elements as well as be an entertainers delight and nautical was not allowed. It had to feel homely, yet modern and capture the personality of my client so it became about brining the outdoors in but in an unconventional way. The space required zoning, new furniture, styling advice as well as lighting and joinery. The idea behind the colour choice was for it to be timeless and to create continuity between the open plan spaces and other rooms while still keeping the functions separate.
